Q: Are these stories or songs, and what's a haibun?

A: These spoken stories are songs because they have music behind them. Some have musical shorties/haiku sprinkled in.

Written stories with occasional haiku are called haibun - they started as a Japanese tradition.

Some musicians have lent me their music for background. I've provided background music for others' stories.
