When my daughter was about 10, an album of covers of Disney tunes came out, with Tom Waits singing 'Heigh Ho, it's off to work we go.' She was terrified of Waits' rendition.

Ha! My son said, "This guy sounds like a monster." (Tom Waits, not you!). I like all the weird springy sounds and the slightly demented vocals and the Waits-ian rhythm.

I love the haiku, it's a cool expression of industry. I love the idea of centering it on noise. The music was cool here, wandering and meditative. I get a touch of Waits in your vocals but much more melody from you
