@valeriecox wrote these fine lyrics and I added the music, written under time pressure. The two sloppy slide tracks over the baritone are on the good 'ol red Framus folk guitar that I've been playing for ages.

Something very soothing about your vocals here. They sound great over the waltz-like rhythm and the various acoustic guitars. Lyrics really paint a vivid picture of a romantic beach idyll. Love "we trace the outline of far away ships"!

Oh, I like that 3/4 time - feels like the band that's playing on a hotel patio somewhere behind the two people on the beach. I especially like all the instrumental space for staring at the sea and each other and feeling content. Something about the way the vocal sits in the music makes it feel like thinking inside the singer's head. Great marriage of beautiful lyrics and music.

I too love these lyrics by Val. Your treatment is dreamy. I get a nice tropical feel with the music and a happy relaxed vibe with your vocals. A perfect combination all together. Beautiful collab!

I could have swore there were seagull sounds in the background, but the imagery and vibe of the track just magically produces them in my head. And the taste of salt water. And a very calm, beautiful place. Very well made, the music, lyrics and vocal.
